John-ShepardEver since the PlayStation 4 was announced in February, we've been wondering when gamers would be able to go hands-on with Sony's new console.
It wasn't playable at E3 but don't worry, because if you're in the San Diego area this month, you'll have your chance. Sony has revealed that the PS4 will be available for public sampling during the San Diego Comic-Con, which runs between July 18 and July 21.
Titles available to try will be DriveClub , Octodad and Knack . What, no Killzone: Shadow Fall ? You can also test out some of the PS3 and Vita games that will be on display at Sony's booth. As a cool bonus, Naughty Dog creative director Neil Druckmann and comic book artist Faith Erin Hicks will sign copies of "The Last Of Us: American Dreams" at the Dark Horse booth on Friday, July 19 between 2 and 3 p.m PDT. Lastly, Sony will talk about the Vita iteration of The Walking Dead in a panel entitled, "Behind the Scenes with Telltale Games' The Walking Dead Game Series."
But having a few PS4 games playable is reason enough to attend, right?
Octodad lol, I friggin cracked up when they showed that game at E3. So, will the Xbone show up?

You can spell it however you want! It's technically "Comic-Con International: San Diego" and most of the official materials and releases will say that or "Comic-Con". "San Diego Comic Convention" is the corporate name (still a non-profit organization) that organizes Comic-Con International: San Diego and owns/controls the word "Comic-Con", regardless of case used, but the hyphen is a key part of the trademark.
