I'm thinking first person games would feel more virtual.

If they could make that work I'd buy the VR day 1.

If VR is the future of videogames then im quitting video games as my hobby….

I don't think the past of video games will necessarily exit, the future will just have to include VR.

Unless it's motion tech all over again.

You quit then Ubisoft announes Assasins Creed VR where you are in full control of your character who is starting his own assasins squad to battle against different sects of ninjas and samurai in feudal Japan.Im guessing you would come back crawling on your face.Playstation VR deserves a least a fair chance to impress us.

I think Sony is poised to make this into something real at the best time possible. While MS can't afford investment in anything other than bribes and Oculus Rift rests comfortably on Mark Zuckerberg's shelf at Facebook, Sony could corner the market.

Some compatibility with games other than their special peripheral games will be key though. Otherwise you get like 10 games, then 5 every year after that which get worse and worse until VR goes back into the dustbin of history.

Let's just hope Sony doesn't take any success with VR as a signal to force a $500 PS5 with VR on all of its fans.

I just read that M$ has done a deal with Oculus Rift to do a OR bundle with their Xbox 1 controller included with it.

@Temjin I don't think Sony would force it but a bundle with a fans blowing SKU could exist.

If Zuckerberg gets into bed with MS he's in trouble. That's a black hole labeled "Kinect"

Actually I read it slightly wrong, M$ worked a deal with Zuckergerg to include the M$ controller "WITH EVERY" Oculus rift.

Then that's a waste for MS.
