Fallout 4’s Strange Underwater Structure

There are a great many secrets in the massive world of Fallout 4 . For example, have you gotten into the secret developer's room ?

But wait, here's another:

One player has stumbled upon something interesting underwater: When clearing out a raider camp, a player fell into the sea and he decided to wander around a bit before heading for dry land. Equipped with the Power Suit and Mirelurk Cakes (they let you breath underwater, if you didn't already know), he went exploring and found a mysterious underwater structure.

You can see more images of the structure here ; it looks like a pump station of some kind but it's impossible to tell for sure. The big question is, why is it there? Did Bethesda leave it in for a reason? Or was it part of a scrapped idea to include underwater missions? Who knows? Maybe you should try to find it yourself.

Been playing too much Fallout 4 ? You might appreciate this parody video , provided you've got a sense of humor about your new addiction.

Comparatively, how big is this open world? In the little that l have played I haven't really left Concord. I'm kinda afraid. Haha

It's big. I know that is a generalized comment but Fallout 4 feels bigger then any of the previous Bethesda games.

Not only are their tons of places to visit, some of the buildings you can venture into are massive.

I was recently inside a Fort (unnamed for spoilers) and spent 2 hours inside of it when it was all said and done. This included the mission too, but there was so much loot to grab.

If this sound fun to you, get out there dude!

Haha I will once I can tear myself away from MGS5. Building, defending and invading FOB's has become a lot of fun. It's satisfying when you successfully invade or defend an FOB. And Konami has been making up for some of the flaws with new patches and free added content.

Well, Fallout 4 won't be going anywhere.

Speaking of defending… I returned to my home base (The Red Rocket truck stop) after looting the aforementioned Fort and after I put my junk away, I heard my base defenses start up.

It was the Super Mutants!

They were chucking grenades at my automated turrets and knocked out my spotlight.

So yeah, I get your addiction and it's why I have 9 settlements right now. Gotta protect the wasteland after all. 😉

I've wandered to many places and there are still a ton to go. That said the map still doesn't seem that much bigger than Fallout 3 so far.

Curious to what that structure is. I am not sure if I should go there or wait and see if it's for future use.
