Back during the Tokyo Game Show, we heard about a PlayStation 4 price drop for Japan . Then, earlier this month, Sony announced a PS4 price cut for the U.S. and Canada.

Now, it's time for Australia to get in on the fun.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has confirmed that PS4 will get a price drop in the land down under: The new recommended retail price will be A$479.95, which is well down from the previous price of A$549.95. This is for the console with the standard 500GB hard drive; the retail price for the 1TB system will remain the same (A$549.95). Obviously, this should help Sony for the rapidly approaching holiday sales season.

Furthermore, our Aussie friends have the benefit of the AnimeLab app, which is now available for PS3 and PS4. AnimeLab is a streaming platform that offers access to anime and simulcasts directly from Japan; the app is free if you're interested.

Good to see, i wonder if these price drop bundles come with a game or two of one's choice?
