PS3 Owners Can Sample A Full Game Trial For Battlefield 4

Battlefield: Hardline won't be ready until next year, so here's a chance to get your Battlefield fix in 2014.

If you never got a chance to play last year's entry and you've got a PS3, this news is for you: As announced over at the PlayStation Blog , PS3 owners with a PlayStation Plus membership can now try BF4 for free.

This free trial version lets you play the game for a set amount of time. We're not sure exactly how long that will be, but we do know you've got one week. During that time, you can play as much BF4 as you like. If you need instructions, here you go:

Just remember that this game has received some seriously hefty patches, so you'll have to wait while the game updates. Battlefield community manager Jonas Elfving recommends that you be patient, and reminds you that updates are "being constantly added."
