Think you know everything there is to know about the upcoming Uncharted collection?
Oh, not even close. During the latest PlayStation Blogcast , Sony boss Scott Rohde said there's just "so much more" to reveal about this enticing package. He even hinted that control improvements from later installments might show up in the first few games.
He added:
"There are buckets more to come. I'm not calling this a tease; it's a super-tease."
He also said the 1080p/60fps benchmarks "make a huge a difference" in regards to the overall experience, and he thinks gamers are "going to really appreciate that." Don't forget that this bad-ass collection – an absolute must for any true collector – will be ready to go on October 7.
Who's gonna play all three games straight through?
Related Game(s): Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection
… time to use up some of the vacation leaves I saved up for times like these … *prepares mind and body*
Maybe it comes with a playable Uncharted 4 demo
I was told it comes with beta access for U4.
On who's authority?
(I like looking for excuses to say that)
A friend so take it with a grain of salt. I have no reason not to believe him though.
From IGN: "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection â October 9
The Nathan Drake Collection is everything an Uncharted fan could want in a remastered collection. The bundle packages the singleplayer components of Uncharted, Uncharted 2, and Uncharted 3 for PS4, along with remastered visuals at 1080p resolution, 60 frames per second, and gain access to the Uncharted 4 multiplayer beta this year. A demo of the collection is coming later this summer."
You naughty Sony, please don't cock tease me like this…
I still don't get how they think they can get away with re-mastering these games at 60fps but capping the 4th game at 30. I mean come on…
The 4th game is better and takes tons more resources so the PS4 can only handle it around 30. The previous games aren't as pretty and intricate and easily run on PS4 so 60 is a breeze.
I hope they will chenge the the looks of explosions in U1 and make them as they were in U2.
In U1 they were simply pathetic. Other than that – I'm going to grab that collection.
that does make me a little bit tempted to get it but then it kinda makes the whole point of buying all those unchartered games on ps3 pointless which is what is grinding my gear with this one
happy gaming
Hell yes I will. I will even go through Platting all 3 games, again. Totally worth it.
"The Treasure Hunt Begins October 9th"
Sneaky way to get a game out in October since they don't have a new one ready.
So 60FPS makes a huge difference, just not with the one Uncharted game people actually expected to see running at 60.
Hopefully they reveal this information sooner rather than later. Getting beta MP access isn't enough for me. Needs something more enticing to buy this and play all three again.
Three games? They need to add Golden Abyss of I can't take the jump.
