Oddworld: New ‘n Tasty: Cross Buy For PS4, PS3 And Vita

It's three for the price of one, baby!

As announced at the game's official blog , the upcoming remake of the original classic – dubbed Oddworld: New 'n Tasty – will embrace Sony's Cross Buy initiative.

As the game will be available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, this means that if you purchase one version, you'll get the other two for free. We don't yet have a firm release date, but publisher Oddworld Inhabitants says they're "really close." We should get the date before E3 2014 kicks off on June 9. In other good news, the remake will also boast cross-save functionality, which means you can start playing a console version and then pick up where you left off on your Vita.

And don't forget: As franchise creator Lorne Lanning said in March, if New 'n Tasty moves 500,000 copies, he'll start development on an all-new Oddworld title!

            Sony should make it so that you can at least get the Vita version in physical form. 'Em memory card ain't gettin' any cheaper, and they're too small to buy multiple of them, and the Vita doesn't like getting the card swapped out without a restart, so on and so forth.

                        wish this would hurry up and come out already!
                        especially since theres not much releasing in the next few months so they better get a move on, releasing after july is going to be suicide!
                        one thing i hate about indie games, they always wait till the very last minute to announce a release date!
                        octodad a perfect example ive been waiting oh so long for that, and they wait till the week before saying anything.
                        if it wasnt for me constantly checking the PS blog i would of missed it!
                        id be back here in a months time saying when the ^%$# is octodad releasing!?

                        which is so stupid because it makes it really difficult to get the hype train a rollin, and makes the marketing teams job even harder.
                        if i had a nickel for every time i was looking forward to a indie title, than it releases without a whimper, than i see a review, or someone talks about it to me, or i see it on the store and go, wait, thats out!?
                        since when!?
                        if anyone needs a big lineup window to show off the game and get people excited and ready for it its indies!
