For those of you who desire a rock solid framerate for your shooters, this patch is for you.
Guerrilla Games has released a new update for the PlayStation 4 exclusive, Killzone: Shadow Fall .
The v1.09 patch actually lets you lock the game in at 30 frames per second, which is great news for the technologically minded.
Furthermore, as revealed at the game's website , the update adds more checkpoints and automatic saving points to the campaign. In my estimation, the latter alteration is more important than the FPS one; I've always thought the auto-saving and checkpoints were erratic in Shadow Fall . Drove me nuts a few times.
As for multiplayer, this patch fixed an exploit where the VC30 weapon equipped with a flashlight magically increased its range. There are a few other bug fixes and performance enhancements, including more clan functionality and eradicating some collision exploits on certain maps.
