At the end of May, Ninja Theory announced that their highly praised sequel to Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice would be making its way to PlayStation after a year of being a Microsoft console exclusive. Originally, the announcement confirmed it would be an enhanced edition of the game, fully optimized for PlayStation 5, backed by haptic feedback implementations.
The original announcement only gave a release window of summer 2025, so there was no certainty of when exactly this port would reach PlayStation, that is, until recently, when Ninja Theory confirmed the release date would be August 12, backed by a new trailer showcasing more footage of the adventure game and lead character, Senua, in action-packed combat.
