The rumored 2.5D God of War metroidvania is eyeing a 2026 release window. This rumored title will bring us back to Greece.
Insider Jeff Grubb claims in a video that the game, which is still very much on the way, has just been delayed seemingly as the game’s vision increased. Allegedly, the game was set to just feature dialog boxes, but that has since changed to include full voice acting.
Now, Santa Monica Studio is actually taking a back seat this time around, but will still be involved in some way. While of course it’s a all a rumor, Five Nights At Freddy’s: Into the Pit developer Mega Cat Studios is the leading speculation.
