Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann has some nice words for the indie studio, Sandfall Interactive, as he rolls through the credits of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
Taking to Instagram, the Naughty Dog exec has praised its story, which coming from the big wig behind PlayStation’s shift towards more large-scale narrative-focused games is not an easy thing to do.
“Rolled credits on Claire [sic] Obscur: Expedition 33. I’m in awe. One of the most moving, creative stories I played in a long time.“
In our review of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, we said: “Clair Obsur: Expedition 33 is a marvel of a video game. A game-changing, genre-bending masterpiece. It serves as a testament to the passion of what can be accomplished by a talented team, rivaling the efforts of giant monolith publishers that have three times the budget and resources. It converted me into seeking out other turn-based experiences, but this excellent game may have spoiled me.”
