PS4, Xbox One Versions Of WWE 2K15 Pushed Back

Oh, it's not a big delay.

2K Sports has announced that the next-gen versions of the upcoming WWE 2K15 have been pushed back a few weeks. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will now launch on November 18; they were originally set for October 28.

However, it's important to note that the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions are still on track for the latter date. The developer didn't give exact reasons for the delay, but they did say that gamers will benefit from the extra time. Said Visual Concepts president Greg Thomas:

"Visual Concepts and Yuke's are committed to delivering the most authentic and action-packed WWE experience to date, including release for the very first time on next-generation consoles. The additional development time enables our talented teams to ensure the WWE 2K15 next-gen experience fully meets our expectations."

It's hardly the first game of 2014 that got pushed, but at least this one stays in 2014. However, it also means that November just keeps getting more and more packed; it already has Far Cry 4 , Dragon Age: Inquisition , Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and both Assassin's Creed titles. 'sigh'

WWE 2K15 Roster Boasts 60 Names

If you can't find a few wrestlers you like on this list, you're not a wrestling fan.

During a Summerslam event in Los Angeles over the weekend, the WWE announced the roster for the upcoming WWE 2K15 , and it features no fewer than 60 competitors.

There are current and future wrestlers included although it's not exactly comprehensive (you may notice a few missing names). There's John Cena, Shawn Michaels, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Brock Lesnar, Ric Flair, Randy Orton, The Rock, The Undertaker and more. Obviously, we can expect more wrestlers to appear via downloadable content although nothing is official just yet. Click through the link above to check out the entire list.

This announcement comes not long after the first in-game screenshot was revealed and concerning the roster, the WWE confirmed on Twitter that there's "more to come soon."

WWE 2K15: First In-Game Pic, Hulkmania Collectors Revealed

Wrestling fans, pay attention.

The first in-game screenshot for WWE 2K15 has been released, and it was given to wrestling followers by none other than WWE star John Cena. He tossed up this pic on his Twitter page .

Publisher 2K Sports later released the same image (although a bit bigger), and said the pic represents what WWE 2K15 will look like on next-gen consoles. Hence, that screenshot is from either the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One version of the upcoming game. Then, as revealed by IGN , we learn about the Hulkmania Collector's Edition.

Only available for PS4 and Xbox One, 2K will produce around 25,000 units, and each package will boast a collectible card hand-signed by the legend himself, Hulk Hogan, and an actual piece of the ring canvas from Hogan's Monday Night Raw appearance on March 10 this year. …let's just hope they clean those pieces.

WWE 2K15 is set to launch on October 28.

WWE 2K15 Enters The Ring On October 28

If you're a wrestling fanatic, this is the news you've been waiting for.

Via Twitter , 2K Sports confirmed that WWE 2K15 will launch on October 28 in North America for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It will release internationally three days later, as per usual.

We get the logo as well but unfortunately, no new media (ala screenshots or videos). We're assuming this year's entry is in development at franchise veteran Yuke's but we can't be certain. WWE 2K14 was received relatively well by the critics and fans of the "sport" are hoping that the new installment makes some appreciated improvements. And don't flip out about me putting "sports" in quotations; this form of wrestling isn't a sport as there isn't any real competition. It's all staged, obviously.

Of course, it's a show. It's entertainment. Not exactly high drama but it still remains popular.
