This is just the kind of rainy-day game that would fit nicely among the huge blockbuster open-world productions.
As announced over at the PlayStation Blog , indie developer WeirdBeard (a team that has produced all sorts of games, including promotional and even medical) will deliver Tricky Towers to PlayStation 4.
A "multiplayer, physics-based tower building game," players must build their tower with tetrominoes (yep, those Tetris shapes), and they have to do it faster and more efficiently than their opponents. You can even use magic spells to either bolster your structure or damage your foe's! Available gameplay modes include Race and Survivor; in the former mode, your tower must reach a certain height before your opponent's tower. And in Survivor, you have to try to build the safest, most reliable structure you can.
The team is currently working on finishing the single-player campaign and polishing those magic spells. Here's hoping Tricky Towers ends up being as addictive as it sounds!
