Watch Dogs is one of the most anticipated games of 2013, and Ubisoft has released their E3 trailer just before this year's show kicks off.

The protagonist, Aiden Pearce, apparently only needs "four seconds and a clear signal" to get into just about anywhere. In this trailer, he takes out a black market human trafficker in record time and interestingly, allows the authorities to pick up the criminal. Pearce just shoots him in the leg so he can't run away. Perhaps for the sake of public humiliation…?

In a future where everyone is connected and we're all being watched in some capacity, one man has the capability to change things. My only question – and it's one I hope they explain in the story – is how Aiden is able to do this. I mean, what's so special about his equipment? Why can't anyone have what he has? Was he a master hacker before he went underground and became a vigilante? I'm all sorts of interested in this guy's past, and I hope it isn't ignored in the game.
