If you like the idea of a quirky adventure title, this is for you.

Ubisoft has announced that its puzzle/adventure game, Valiant Hearts: The Great War , will be available digitally on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on June 25.

The setting is World War I and we'll have four main characters whose lives are tied together by the conflict. Developed by Ubisoft Montpelier ( Beyond Good & Evil , Rayman Origins ), the promising game utilizes the excellent UbiArt Framework engine, which was on prominent display in the recently released Child of Light . Although Valiant Hearts uses a very different theme and concept, the beauty of that Framework engine should still shine through.

If the narratives are intriguing enough and the gameplay is engaging enough, this one could be a definite diamond in the rough.
