New Action RPG By RoboCop: Rogue City Devs Uncovered

Polish developer Teyon looks to be staffing up for an unannounced action RPG. The game will be built on Unreal Engine 5.

As reported by Game Pressure, the dev has a total of four vacancies across multiple departments. Nothing more is known about this project outside of its engine, genre, and that’s heading to PC and undisclosed consoles, but we suspect it will release on PlayStation, considering RoboCop: Rogue City, its previous offering, is available on it.

It isn’t clear if the game is tied to any existing IP, but hired staffers will be working with the same group that’s worked on Rogue City and Terminator: Resistance.

EA Drops New Update On Motive’s Iron Man Game

With Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 dropping this past weekend, everyone seems to have caught a case of superhero fever, including EA, which dropped an update on Motive’s new Iron Man game, which has been rather silent since the game’s announcement last year. This marks the third full game developed by EA Motive, which previously worked on Star Wars: Squadrons and this year’s Dead Space remake, which was lauded with plenty of critical acclaim on its release.

The latest update on Iron Man came from a blog post by EA Motive, General Manager, Patrick Klaus, confirming that the game will be developed using the Unreal Engine 5. This marks the first time EA Motive will have worked with external tech, given that both Star Wars: Squadrons and Dead Space were developed using EA’s in-house Frostbite Engine.

It’ll come as no surprise that Iron Man is still confirmed to be in early pre-production, especially given that it’s been less than a year since Dead Space launched.

Considering Unreal Engine 5 is one of the most impressive-looking game engines out there, it’ll be interesting to see what Motive put out for Marvel’s high-flying tech genius. Though we’d wager, their past work on Star Wars: Squadrons and Dead Space’s zero gravity sequences can only prove favorable.

Unannounced Bungie Game Will Be Powered By Unreal Engine

Bungie

A report has surfaced that an unannounced Bungie game is in the works using Unreal Engine 5. Akin to Bethesda, this new game will be the first new IP by the Bellevue-based studio in just shy of a decade, with Destiny being the last new IP in 2014.

According to The Game Post, sources familiar with the project, nicknamed Gummy Bears, say it’s still in early development, so we expect it’ll be a while before anything comes out, likely well after its next game, Marathon, debuts.

This unannounced title will keep true to the studio’s PvP and team combat roots with an isometric view featuring “brightly colored” characters. It might even have real-time strategy elements. This is likely one of the multiple unannounced projects the studio’s working with Sony on following the acquisition.
