Sony Confirms $299 Uncharted Collection PlayStation 4 Bundle

We got wind of it when GameStop's Black Friday sales leaked out, and now it's official.

As confirmed over at the PlayStation Blog , a new PlayStation 4 bundle featuring Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will be available in the U.S. on Black Friday weekend only. It will go on sale on Thanksgiving day and remain up for grabs through Cyber Monday.

The price is a very respectable $299.99, which means you get the console $50 cheaper than usual, along with a free copy of the game. This package will also be available in Canada for $369.99 CAD. Don't forget that you actually get three adventures with that Collection ; the first three award-winning Uncharted titles, each of which are absolutely worth playing. We're talking about some of the very best games to launch in the past decade, ya know.

Uncharted Collection Needs A Hefty Chunk Of Your PS4 HDD

PlayStation 4 owners are probably used to large file sizes by now but even so, you might need to make some room for Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection .

As PSU confirms, the anticipated compilation takes up over 44GB of hard drive space.

That even trumps massive games like Grand Theft Auto V (nearly 42GB) but at least it's a lot easier to install and re-install titles on PS4 when compared to PS3. And besides, if you've already picked up a bigger hard drive for your PS4, this probably isn't an issue for you.

This awesome collection, which features remastered versions of the first three entries in the award-winning Uncharted franchise, will be ready to go on October 8. Fans can expect new difficulty options and a Photo Mode; to see more, check out 11 amazing minutes of gameplay . If you don't yet have a PS4, perhaps you'll be enticed by this slick bundle featuring the Uncharted Collection .

Lastly, those who snag this compilation will also gain access to the Uncharted 4: A Thief's End multiplayer beta, which kicks off on December 4.
