EA Sports Reveals UFC 2 Fighter Ratings

The game will be ready to go shortly and to celebrate, EA Sports has released the fighter rankings.

They revealed the player ratings via Twitter and unsurprisingly, featherweight champion Conor McGregor is the best-rated stand-up fighter with an overall ranking of 99. The top 10 stand-up fighters can be seen in the image EA posted to the game's Twitter feed; check it out here:

For the women, Holly Holm is the top-rated bantamweight fighter, just beating out Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate. It's interesting that the cover star, Rousey, doesn't have the top spot but don't forget that she lost to Holm in a highly publicized match last year. By the way, Holm and Tate will square off this weekend during UFC 196 if you're interested in tuning in.

You can find the complete rundown of all the ratings and divisions at Bleacher Report . And don't forget that Bruce Lee will return as well !

Ronda Rousey Inherits Madden Curse

For a while there, it looked like the "Madden curse" had been vanquished.

But in point of fact, it might've just shifted to another franchise…

Just a few days ago, EA Sports officially unveiled UFC 2 . The new entry will boast an all new sense of realism, updated mechanics, and the sport's latest superstar, Ronda Rousey. In fact, she's on the cover. So, what happens to the previously undefeated champion over the weekend? Yep, supposedly the most unstoppable female athlete in the world was stopped by a vicious kick to the head by former wold boxing champion Holly Holm. Rousey's first lost came in the second round.

Okay UFC athletes, now you know: Don't pick up the phone if EA calls!
