For those who love challenging co-op games with puzzles, platforming and action, the Trine games are for you.
But if you missed out on the sequel and you intend to pick up the PlayStation 4, Finnish developer Frozenbyte is gonna make your day: As they announced over at the PlayStation Blog , Trine 2: The Complete Story is confirmed for Sony's new console!
Playing solo, you will switch between the Knight, the Wizard and the Thief; each has his or her own specific set of skills and abilities, and the Three Heroes must make their way through a beautifully drawn fairytale world. You can play with a couple other human players if you wish. Working together, the adventurers can conquer the toughest puzzles and the most vicious foes. The Complete Story features 20 exciting levels (this includes the expansion Goblin Menace and the secret level, Dwarven Caverns), along with 3D support, gorgeous 1080p resolution and 60 FPS gameplay. Talk about smooth and picturesque!
No word yet on a release date, but at least we know it's coming. Considering my review from 2011, those additions should make the game a solid 9, don't you think?
