And the new entry is right around the corner: Ubisoft has announced that TrackMania Turbo will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on March 22. The game was originally slated to release last year but the developers opted for a delay after receiving some fan feedback. The team used the extra time to "enhance the campaign and the game's interface," which is good news. They also worked on improving the multiplayer and online stability, and they added new features like a mode that lets you compete against friends "on your favorite user-made tracks."

Developed by Nadeo, a French studio owned by Ubisoft, TrackMania is definitely a no-holds-barred racer that should be an absolute blast. Personally, I've been missing games like this; seems like every sports and racing title made these days is either a straight-up simulator or a hybrid of sorts. Hell, I say bring back Road Rash , Rush , Cruis'n USA , Crazy Taxi and Outrun .
