According to Google's annual Zeitgeist report , Sony's PlayStation 4 led the Tech Gadget side while Take-Two's blockbuster Grand Theft Auto V unsurprisingly topped the video game category.

For the record, the Xbox One was the fourth biggest trending search for Consumer Electronics on a worldwide scale. As for the PS4 and GTAV, we're talking about two subjects that garnered a boatload of headlines throughout the year; it's no real shock to see them top their respective lists.
