Well, it begs the question: What are some of your favorite gaming moments in 2015?
We've seen lots of game creators talk about their top titles for the year; Famitsu highlighted the top 5 picks of 37 Japanese developers , and recently, Insomniac boss Ted Price revealed his top 5 .
Now, a bunch of PlayStation developers talk about their favorite gaming moments, as listed over at the PlayStation Blog . As opposed to simply naming titles, they dive into the moments that made them smile, so it's very subjective and even enlightening. For example, Evolution Studios Game Director Paul Rustchynsky named the absorbing city of Yharnam ( Bloodborne ), both Adrian Chmielarz (Creative Director of The Astronauts) and Thomas Grip (Frictional Games Co-Founder) talked about the impact of Until Dawn , and Ninja Theory Product Development Manager Dominic Matthews sang the praises of Everybody's Gone to the Rapture .
And here's what SCE Japan Studio Producer Masaaki Yamagiwa said about CD Projekt Red's epic 2015 RPG :
"The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt released in the same year as Bloodborne and is also a huge RPG title. It’s made so very well that you are just completely immersed in its world. Also, the free post-release DLC made me feel that the developer really wants the best for the players and wants them to enjoy the game as much as possible. It gave me an impression that the developers are really working for the player’s enjoyment and I admire that so much."
