Tony Hawk 5 Full Soundtrack Revealed, And Hawk Loves It

It was always a big part of the Tony Hawk experience on PlayStation: The soundtrack.

And now we know precisely what songs will accompany our skating in the upcoming Tony Hawk's Pro Skating 5 , as the full soundtrack has been revealed.

Posted at The Ride Channel complete with music videos is the list and although it doesn't include Goldfinger's "Superman," this 32-song array does feature plenty of artists that fit the skating culture perfectly. Even the man himself, Tony Hawk, is impressed. As he said on Twitter :

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 29, while the slightly less robust PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will release on November 10.

Tony Hawk 5: Exclusive PS4/PS3 Content, Dedicated Servers

Well, of course it should get PlayStation-exclusive content. Given the franchise's history, it only makes sense.

As announced over at the PlayStation Blog , the PS4 and PS3 versions of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 will get content you won't find in the Xbox versions.

It's not a super big deal but at least it's something: We get three character heads based on classic PlayStation franchises; Ratchet ( Ratchet & Clank ), Sackboy ( LittleBigPlanet ), and Sweet Tooth ( Twisted Metal ). On top of which, developer Robomodo confirmed that the game's online mode will utilize dedicated servers to power the freeskating that supports up to 20 players.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 , the entry that brings us back to the franchise's spectacular roots, is set to release on September 29 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. There will be PS3 and Xbox 360 versions that launch a little later, but they won't boast all the same features.

Activision has released a brand new gameplay trailer for the anticipated Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 . This video is set to the music of Plague Vendor's "Black Sap Scriptures" and yeah, it certainly fits the atmosphere. This extended footage boasts the game's wide variety of skaters and venues, and even shows off the new park editor.

Currently in development at Robomodo, this one could make some serious waves come fall. The return of the classic Tony Hawk style will undoubtedly go over well with fans of the old-school gameplay, and we can't wait to give it a go. It's set to launch on September 29 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One; it'll come out later for PS3 and Xbox 360.
