Tomb Raider I-III Remastered PS5 Version Lacks A Platinum Trophy

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered boasts a lot of trophies — over 200 — but yet apparently one version will lack the coveted Platinum Trophy. At this time, it isn’t clear why that’s the case or if the Xbox Series X|S version will have similar issues with its Achievements.

As reported by Insider Gaming, which got a hold of its trophy list, the game, which releases next week, currently lacks a Platinum Trophies for the current-gen version. Apparently, the PS4 hasn’t omitted them, though.

A ResetEra user proposed a possible reason, that being due to some changes made to how collection Trophies work on the PS5. User madbuk pointed to Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves as a point. We’ll take this as a possibility, but will absolutely wait until official confirmation.

“You can see this with Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves – because it’s all one launcher, Lost Legacy trophies had to be added in as a DLC pack and only Uncharted 4 had a Platinum…”

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered To Hit PS5, PS4

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered

While it might be more significant for the Nintendo Switch, but Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft is heading to current and previous-gen hardware next year.

The news was shared at the recent Nintendo Direct, but it’s also heading to PS systems as well. Considering this trio of games date back to the mid-90s, it probably doesn’t shock you — or it does — that it’s running for a modest $29.99. Since the remaster bundles in all three games alongside its expansions, we can see this as a good deal if you’re raring to get your Lara Croft fix.

Developed by long-running game porter, Aspyr Media, we can expect Tomb Raider I-III Remastered to make its way onto the digital storefront on February 14, 2024.
