CD Projekt Red is an equal opportunity developer.
Studio co-founder Marcin Iwinski confirmed to Eurogamer that their hotly anticipated open-world RPG, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt , will not have any platform-exclusive content:
"We'll not deliver exclusive content to any of the platforms, nor will we artificially delay release of the game on any of the platforms because somebody's paying us money for that. It's definitely against our values. We are not doing that."
Iwinski added that The Witcher 3 will "hopefully" show up at E3 next month, but he wants to reinforce that certain platform players won't get extra goodies. "We are treating all gamers equally," he said, and as far as their marketing intents, "you'll see that at E3." It's common for developers to produce exclusive content for various platforms but CD Projekt Red obviously isn't going that route.
What do you think? What's your take on platform-exclusive content?
