In my estimation, Hearts of Stone is by far and away this generation's best expansion to date.
But developer CD Projekt Red's response to that is as follows: "You ain't seen nothin' yet."
That's because despite the greatness of that 10-hour expansion, the team is prepping an expansion that's twice as long and apparently, even better than the main campaign. In speaking about the second add-on, Blood and Wine, senior writer Jakub Szamalek told Eurogamer Italy (as translated by OnlySP ) that the next add-on will finish off Geralt's long story arc. He says they've "achieved something even better than the main game" and they call the last plot the most "complex."
Szamalek adds that Wild Hunt didn't really have a charismatic villain, so they made a unique and memorable opponent for Blood and Wine. Can't wait to face him down with my Lv. 40 Geralt and his bad-ass equipment!
