Ready at Dawn is cranking away on The Order: 1886 , which has received plenty of press over the last year or so. But the closest thing we've ever received to a date is GameStop's temporary placeholder date of June 1, 2014.

However, some Tweets by Sony Santa Monica and Ready at Dawn have led us to believe that the estimated release window is in autumn, which sorta falls in line with what Sony UK boss Fergal Gara just said: According to OPM UK , it'll be "later in the year." That basically implies a holiday season launch, which would make the most sense.

However, as a new IP, it's always difficult to get traction, especially against established franchises. Maybe it'd be better to give this game some breathing room…
