Uncharted 4 In 2014, TLoU GotY Edition Still Possibilities

The possibility of Uncharted 4 in 2014 and a Game of the Year Edition for The Last Of Us = resurrected. 'phew'

A few days ago, a fan at the PlayStation Blog asked Naughty Dog Community Strategist Eric Monacelli a question. Well, it was three questions in one , and we weren't sure to which question Monacelli was replying. The response – "Ha. Doubtful." – could've encompassed all of the following queries:

"UC4 Easter eggs??? UC4 for PS4 in 2014…LOU GOTY edition please!!!!!!! for PS3!"

Thankfully, though, Monacelli confirmed to PlayStation LifeStyle that in fact, he was only answering the first part of that message, the bit involving UC4 Easter Eggs. This means that come E3, there's still a chance that Sony could drop the bomb that is the new Uncharted for PS4. And nobody should count out a GotY Edition for The Last Of Us , either.

It's just good to know that we might still see Drake's latest adventure this holiday season. Maybe November…?

Naughty Dog Comments On Uncharted 4, TLoU GotY Edition

"Ha. Doubtful."

That's the response a fan received at the PlayStation Blog when he asked Naughty Dog community strategist Eric Monacelli if we'd see Uncharted 4 for the PlayStation 4 in 2014 and/or a Game of the Year Edition for The Last Of Us .

The only problem is that we're not sure to which question Monacelli was replying. It could've been to both; if so, we're disappointed. We had hoped to see the new Uncharted 4 on PS4 for the 2014 holiday season. Historically, new entries in the series have always launched later in the year, so does this mean we're looking at a holiday 2015 release? That's too damn far away!

As for a TLoU GotY Edition, that should be possible. I don't see the problem producing one of those later this year. Put it out, include that single-player expansion, Left Behind (and any other DLC you release), and people will definitely respond, I say.
