This is for all you dungeon-crawling fans out there, especially those of you who invariably choose the dwarf.

Introducing a new tactical RPG from German developer KingArtGames: It's called The Dwarves and it's in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It should release some time next year.

Based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Markus Heitz, dwarves are "front and center" for this adventure, which features dynamic combat, exploration, and a new gameplay feature called "flocking behavior." The team describes it as:

"If a dwarf lands a mighty blow with a heavy war hammer, struck orcs are thrown back, and some of them might even be pushed into an abyss."

The game is played from an isometric perspective, as you can see in the debut trailer below. It reminds me a lot of those awesome Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance games, which is not a bad thing at all .
