GameStop’s “Supercharged PS4” May Be, Uh, Overpriced

Don't have nearly enough space on your standard 500GB PlayStation 4 hard drive? Aren't interested in switching out the HDD yourself?

Well, maybe you're up for paying a premium for one of GameStop's Supercharged PS4s .

As spotted by DualShockers , these systems are from the retailer's "premium refurbished" lineup and they're "supercharged" because they come with a 2 terabyte hard drive built in. The cost is $479.99, though, which means you're paying $120 for that hard drive and the simple installation. You can find some 2TB HDDs for about $100 so maybe this isn't really worth it for most. Then again, maybe some aren't even aware of the current going rates for hard drives.

Besides, let's not forget the "refurbished" part. That will always cause me to hesitate, no matter what they're offering. And this doesn't seem like much of a deal to me in the first place.
