If your hard drive is a little cramped these days, it's important to know the install sizes of certain games ahead of time, right?
Via Twitter , Electronic Arts has revealed the file sizes for the rapidly approaching Star Wars: Battlefront , and PlayStation 4 owners will require a bit more space.
As it turns out, Battlefront needs 23GB of free space on PS4 as opposed to 19GB on Xbox One. The PC version requires 27GB but that's not too surprising; the interesting part is the 4GB gap between the console iterations. Install sizes can and do vary but that's a pretty big difference. Sony has talked about shooter fans tending to shift to PS4 and Battlefront on Sony's console might be more enticing to the more picky consumers.
But what's the deal with the extra hard drive space requirement? At any rate, Star Wars: Battlefront will be ready to go on November 17 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
