The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are off to good starts, and perhaps that is being reflected in the slew of new jobs available at Sony and Microsoft.

As noted by DualShockers , Sony Computer Entertainment America has opened up 13 new career opportunities for a wide variety of professionals. This adds to the 6 that were posted on December 12.

Since the North American launch of the PS4, SCEA has opened 46 total jobs, including several at Sony Santa Monica, a studio that is supposed to be working on multiple new titles. Microsoft had 31 new jobs posted last month and more are coming, which is a good sign. Overall, it appears as if the game industry is on the upswing – at long last – after the PS4 and Xbox One graced store shelves last month. Is there a job opening that catches your eye?
