Massive Leak For Sony’s E3: Huge Games, Teasers, Trailers

With little over a month to go before E3 kicks off, everyone's wondering what Sony will present.

One source, speaking to DualShockers , has apparently revealed the majority of the press conference. The info comes from contacts within Sony HQ and another contact at the BBH New York marketing firm, which works with Sony for promotion.

This is wicked detailed and if it's all true, we should be in for a helluva show! Here are our favorites:

— Uncharted PS4 3 Minute Trailer showcasing ”In-engine” footage interspersed with gameplay segments. Visuals are supposedly unprecedented and set a benchmark for console graphics. Summer 2015 release date. It looks absolutely stellar. Features tropical setting and differing time periods with Nate/Francis.

— Media Molecule’s new title will be a landmark title for Morpheus. 3D world building, beautiful, quirky visuals.Extremely creative and fun. Possibly related to the ”Entwined” trademark filed last week by SCE (not sure). Late 2015.

— Gran Turismo 6 is coming to PS4 as 1080p 60FPS repackaged title in the vein of Gran Turismo 7: Prologue. Stunning visuals, extra features (social connectivity, new tracks, dlc etc). Coming mid-late 2015.

— God of War 4 teaser will be present – will be CG with snippets of in-engine footage. A little early for reveal, but is designed to offset negativity surrounding canceled new IP and generate excitement – also to partially offset CG announce of Gears of War at Microsoft presser. Late 2015. Date wont be announced.

— Kill Strain trademark is related to Syphon Filter reboot for PS4. Sony Bend working on revamping the franchise. Stealth, beautiful visuals and a possible Winter 2014 title. Bend finally getting to join the big boys.

— Wipeout is also making the transition to PS4. Source is unsure of who is developing it, but hints that it could be Sony London, Evolution, or Firesprite.

— Quantic Dream has a trailer prepared – unsure whether it is penciled in for Gamescom or E3. Sony will be watching Microsoft’s presser earlier in the day to gauge whether additional titles will need to be slotted in to dampen hype. Expect Dark Sorcerer- like visuals in real time. Off-topic, but still relevant – they are close to deal to become a Worldwide Studios developer, along with Ready At Dawn.

— Speaking of Ready At Dawn, The Order:1886 will get a stage demo. Big title for Fall 2014. Sony is expecting great things from said title – franchise hopes rest on its performance.

— Ninja Theory working on a PS4 exclusive – possible Heavenly Sword sequel which was shelved a number of years ago. Quite far into development.

— Sony London will be at E3. First AAA title in many years. 3rd person title. Gorgeous. They’re back with a bang.

— Guerrilla Games bringing their RPG to E3. Provocative setting – very interesting. Insane visuals as usual. A good reaction to the title is expected. Will please the hardcore.

— Sony Japan Studios debuting two, maybe even three titles. Project Beast – spiritual successor to Demon Souls. The other is The Last Guardian. Retooled for PS4, possible Winter 2014 title. The Other title is shrouded in secrecy.

…okay, so that's the majority of the list. But it all sounds awesome!

Of All The E3 Rumors, This Is The One I Dearly Wish Is True…

It seems like just about every last facet of Sony's upcoming E3 presentation has been leaked.

Of course, none of it is confirmed and we must apply the "rumor" label to such information. That being said, when I was perusing the speculative list , my eyes were drawn toward one thing:

The possibility of a Heavenly Sword 2 announcement. Could Ninja Theory finally be working on a sequel?

Sure, I want games like Uncharted 4 , The Order: 1886 , and a new God of War just like everyone else. I think Quantic Dream's project ( The Dark Sorcerer ) will be amazing whenever it decides to arrive, I can't wait to see what studios like Sony Japan and Sony London have in store, Media Molecule is forever the accomplished creative innovator, I'd love to see a Syphon Filter reboot, and an RPG from Guerrilla definitely got my attention.

But above all, HS2 is what I want. To this day, I think Heavenly Sword is one of the most underrated and under-appreciated games of the previous generation. I still remember writing the review and wondering how other critics could've seen fit to bash the game. I just didn't get it. The story was good – better than most action titles, that's for sure – and the acting and writing were unbelievable. Some will complain about the gameplay but honestly, I didn't have any problem. Shallow? Eh, depends on how you look at it.

Everything, from the setting to the character(s) to the combat, kept me absorbed from start to finish. Furthermore, I've always respected Ninja Theory; Enslaved: Odyssey to the West was another sorely under-appreciated game. It just seemed like this team always got the short end of the stick last generation, and if they do deliver Heavenly Sword 2 , I hope they're rewarded. I can almost guarantee that the audience will be very appreciative of the announcement at E3…if it comes.

Rumor: Sony’s E3 Lineup Is Going To Blow Your Socks Off

What will Sony show off at E3 this year?

The official lineup remains a mystery but according to one insider, PlayStation fans won't be disappointed.

This according to Tidux , who has been right several times before. This time he has Tweeted the following encouraging comment:

"OHH Shiiit! The lineup 4 E3 is Bonkers."

He also claims that Sony will display Driveclub gameplay, which would be great. Hopefully, they'll also deliver a new launch date for the long-awaited title; it was originally supposed to be a launch title for the PS4, remember? As for The Last Guardian , all we can really do is hope and pray. Sony keeps saying they're working on it, but they did have to return to the drawing board, so-to-speak.

What do you want to see at E3 this year?

Sony Should Have a “Decent Mix” Of Games At E3 2014

What will Sony show off at this year's E3?

The company hasn't released a list just yet, but the fans are hoping to see some seriously big titles. NeoGAF user DemonNite , who is also a developer at Sony, said there will be plenty of heavy hitters.

However, when specifically asked about Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts III , he said it would be a "tight fit" so it's difficult to say if those games will make an appearance. Shooters like Destiny , Planetside 2 and the new Call of Duty and Battlefield installments aren't out of the realm of possibility, but overall:

"…there should be a decent mix of other genres."

Sony really needs to come with the games, especially the exclusive software for the PlayStation 4. It would help if they could show off some exclusive Vita titles, too. The bottom line is that the PlayStation brand is synonymous with games , and they need to continue to prove that.

If You Missed The E3 Excitement, It’s Time To Play Catch-Up

Maybe you were just too busy to participate in the E3 festivities last week. Maybe you missed all the excitement and now you're regretting it big time.

That's okay, though, because the PlayStation Blog has you covered. There you can check out all the live presentations and PlayStation 4 game demos, many of which are just mind-bogglingly bad-ass.

They've got great interviews and gameplay segments for huge titles like Battlefield 4 , Quantic Dream's The Dark Sorcerer , Destiny , The Evil Within , infamous: Second Son , Murdered: Soul Suspect , The Order: 1886 , Need for Speed: Rivals , Tearaway , Transistor and Warframe . PlayStation has always been, and will continue to be, all about the games . What titles are atop your next-gen priority list? I'm likin' the looks of The Order: 1886 and The Dark Sorcerer myself, and I'm optimistic about The Evil Within .

For many, the new generation just can't get here fast enough!
