Capcom Delivers Visual Comparison Vid For Resident Evil 0 HD

Capcom has released a new video comparing all three versions of Resident Evil 0 .

…oh, you didn't know there were three?

The publisher goes way back for this one, showing off a prototype that was originally produced for Nintendo 64 back in 1999. Then they show you the GameCube release from 2002 and finally, the upcoming HD Remaster. The latest effort will be a big HD upgrade and will also offer improved sound, widescreen support, and the option of using a modernized control scheme (no tank controls for you?).

The main characters are STARS officer Rebecca Chambers and a prisoner on death row, Billy Coen; they have to team up to survive a fresh zombie outbreak. Players will be able to switch between these two at any time for the duration of the game, and each possesses unique skills.

But you probably never knew about the N64 prototype, did you? Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster will be ready to go some time early next year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
