It's one of the most impressive-looking games we've seen to date, and it's really just a remake.

But perhaps "just a remake" is doing this project a disservice because developer Insomniac Games is remaking the original Ratchet & Clank for PlayStation 4 from the ground up.

And at the PlayStation Experience, they revealed the new launch date: April 12, 2016. The game was delayed around the same time the animated movie was pushed back ; now, both will release within a few weeks of each other. That movie will be ready to go on April 29. It should be great but me, I just can't wait to dive into this fully re-imagined world with iconic PlayStation characters.

On top of which, we really don't have games like this anymore. Linear action/platformers are sorta few and far between, at least in regards to this structure and style.
