PSN Deal: Spend $100, Get $15 Credit

With the holiday season almost upon us, it pays to save.

Sony has a new PlayStation Store offer that you shouldn't ignore: You get $15 credit when you spend $100; the offer is good in the U.S. and Mexico and expires on November 3.

Any credit you earn can be spent on any PSN content, including game expansions and DLC, TV shows, movies, themes, etc. The credit will be delivered to you via XMB or email by November 17 at the latest and right now, it doesn't appear to have any restrictions. Just remember that this credit will expire on December 15 and can't be returned or exchanged for actual cash. …does anyone out there actual entertain thoughts of exchanging for cash? I mean, seriously?

To get started, check out the Store's online marketplace . For the latest PSN update and current sales, feel free to examine the new post over at the PlayStation Blog .

Spend $100 On The PSN, And Sony Will Toss You $20

The big games are gonna be piling up this fall, so you'll want to save some cash.

And if you intend on spending a significant amount on the PlayStation Network, Sony has a deal for ya: Spend $100 or more on the PSN and get a $20 credit to your wallet. Just remember that the $20 is a one-time reward; you don't keep getting the bonus for every hundred bucks you spend.

As revealed at the PlayStation Blog , this deal is good for the month of October. It's also important to remember that as usual, PlayStation Plus subscribers get that extra 10% discount, and the new Day 1 Digital Program makes this an even better deal. With full $60 games going up, it's great to be able to save that $20, which you'll do if you purchase two full-priced titles.

And remember, there are lots of things on the PSN, so that $20 doesn't necessarily have to go towards a game…
