Rumor: PS4 Update 3.00 Delivers A Host Of Social Features

Note: As Sony has not released an official announcement, this information isn't yet written in stone.

That being said, a bunch of details concerning PlayStation 4 system software update 3.00 have begun circulating online, and it seems Sony is prepared to introduce several significant features.

One of the much-discussed additions will be the option to publish 10-second video clips to Twitter. We'll also be able to host live gameplay broadcasts via YouTube. Gamers should appreciate a brand new Communities section as well, which will allow fans with similar entertainment tastes to meet and share. Users can post comments in the What's New community feed, and we can expect layout redesigns in key areas of the system.

You can find more information at Gematsu and Reddit . Obviously, this is a very social-focused update that enhances the connectivity between the PlayStation community. Now we just need the final word from Sony, and a release date.
