Although it seems both Microsoft and Sony will reveal their new systems at E3 this year, the majority of gamers seem quite satisfied with the PlayStation 3.
In our recent poll, the overwhelming majority said they're quite happy with the current piece of PlayStation hardware, and only a scant few said they were more than ready for the next generation.
This shouldn't be surprising, but we'll be curious to see if interest levels rise after Sony unveils their new console. Gamers love to be excited about new advances in technology, even if they're not always satisfied with the cost of admission (and that question opens up a whole other can of worms). Chances are, we won't hear about the cost of the PS4 at E3 but if they do show off the PS4, maybe more followers will be ready to leap aboard the next-gen bandwagon. It'll be very interesting to see what happens…
This week, we were going to do a survey concerning mobile gaming, so as to refute the obviously biased survey held at MocoSpace. But there's really no good way to phrase the poll question without sounding biased ourselves, so we're sticking with the hot topic of the week: the PS4. When do you think it'll actually arrive on store shelves? Could it be as early as the end of the year? Or are we looking at 2013 some time?
