Okay, who has some bright ideas? I'm baffled.

The official PlayStation Facebook page has given the gaming world a teaser image called, "When Worlds Collide." The mysterious teaser is linked on their Twitter channel, too.

It's difficult to get much from the picture; it looks like one planet being eclipsed by another. It's possible that it's related to the recently released DUST 514 , because Edge once used the line "When Worlds collide" to help promote CCP's new game. Basically, it was because DUST 514 was going to be part of the existing EVE Online universe. But maybe this is something else…

Another thing to remember is that "When Worlds Collide" was the name of a sci-fi novel from Philip Wylie and Edwin Balmer, which was published back in 1933. In the book, a bunch of scientists try to build a spacecraft so they escape Earth, which is wracked by environmental disasters. Oh, and another planet is on a collision course with Earth, too.

So…any guesses?
