Thus far, it seems the PlayStation 4 hasn't run into any catastrophic, far-reaching reliability issues.
Officially, Sony has only confirmed problems with a "very small number" of shipped systems and for the most part, the new console has avoided negative headlines. However, the number of Blu-Ray playback complaints continues to rise.
GamingBolt has assembled several complaints grabbed from Twitter; some users are saying they can't get any Blu-Ray movies to play on the console. Others say they can't get specific titles to play, such as "Despicable Me." Many also say that these very same discs run just fine on the PS3, so it's clearly a PS4 hardware issue. Twitter is filling up with very similar complaints and we're hoping this is something Sony will address ASAP. Many are calling for a patch that will fix these issues, which are definitely irritating.
