If so, you should pay attention to this news: There's a new platformer out there that's "like nothing seen before in games," as players explore a 2D world by manipulating 3D parallax layers.
Yeah, that sounds somewhat complex but it's actually a superb idea; to learn more, check out the release announcement video below. And as the developer wrote on Facebook , they spent four years working on the game, so there's a lot of blood, sweat and tears dumped into this one. FYI, there are actually no levels in Poncho . Here's an explanation:
"You wake up in the center of the game, and choose to go any way you want. With no hand-holding to tell you where to go, it's up to you to choose the right path."
Poncho is slated to release on November 3 for PlayStation 4, PC, Mac and Linux, and they say PS Vita and Wii U versions are coming later.
