If you're still looking for the PlayStation Camera, you're hardly the only one.
Sony senior staff developer support engineeer Chris Norden confirmed at the Game Developers Conference that the PS4 camera is "severely supply constrained."
Norden also revealed that the Camera had an attach rate of around 15 percent, which – considering the PS4's 6.3 million sales – comes to about 900,000 units. He also said Sony underestimated demand for the peripheral, so Norden asks seeking consumers to "please be patient," as he doesn't know when retailer stock will be replenished. If you didn't already know, Microsoft's Xbox One comes with its camera, Kinect.
Then again, it's also $100 more than the PS4, which is proving to be a major stumbling block.
