Oculus Founder “Blown Away” By PSVR 2

PSVR 2

Tech enthusiast Palmer Luckey expressed his excitement for the upcoming PSVR 2. His endorsement will come with waves of support from the VR community, considering his status as the founder of Oculus, one of the biggest virtual reality headsets out there, which was sold to Meta, at the time Facebook, in 2014.

In a tweet responding to PlayStation’s Shuhei Yoshida linking back to a hands-on post from Android Authority, Luckey revealed he experienced the upcoming VR peripheral first-hand. His experience led him to believe that the PSVR 2 will be an even bigger advancement in VR than the original PSVR.

He was apparently “blown away” with the peripheral when given the chance to use it.

With its lofty price tag, we’d hope it would be a rather robust peripheral, and from the sound of it, it will be. There are 30 games in the pipeline for the launch window including big hitters like Gran Turismo 7 and Beat Saber.

The PSVR 2 launches on February 22, 2023.
