If you want to expand upon the chilling experience that is Outlast , circle May 6 on the calendar.

That's when the Whistleblower downloadable content arrives for the acclaimed survival/horror title. PlayStation 4 owners have really appreciated this nod to old-school horror, so many should embrace this expansion.

Whistleblower gives players a peek at the events leading up to the main story, and developer Red Barrels says this adds a totally new chapter to the plot. It does still take place within the horrifying Mount Massive Asylum, though, so you should be familiar with the environment. This DLC will debut for $8.99 and it'll be available on the PSN and Steam.
