Yeah, I know they haven't announced too many just yet. But are you still hoping to see the official announcement of a "must-have" role-playing game? From your perspective, anyway?

There was a time when I would've said Final Fantasy XV without hesitation, but as that doesn't seem to even qualify as a true RPG, I'll have to look elsewhere. The next Elder Scrolls should be pretty insane, so you can't discount that one, and I keep wondering if we'll ever see the resurrection of an old-school series like Legend of Dragoon or the Chrono IP.

If that doesn't happen, though, I might have to go with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for now. It's either that or Dragon Age: Inquisition , because I'm convinced BioWare will give the fans exactly what they desire; every new piece of information I've heard concerning Inquisition has been awfully encouraging. Big open world, more customization and depth; yep, sounds more like an RPG. As for Wild Hunt , I remember doing the preview for it and being totally blown away by the size and scope of this project. I mean, we're talking revolutionary in terms of ambition, I think.

Can't forget about Kingdom Hearts III , either.  That could end up being the "funnest" RPG strictly from a universally appealing standpoint. So, what RPG(s) sit atop your list?
