Last week, a NeoGAF user spotted a listing for Mirror's Edge 2 on the German branch of Amazon's website.

Now, a second retailer listing has arisen; this time it's on the Italian arm of Amazon, as cited by OXM . And because both times the listing only encompassed Microsoft platforms (Xbox 360 and Xbox One), the assumption is that this sequel will be exclusive.

Wait a minute. The author of this article at OXM decided not to mention that Mirror's Edge is an EA property? And that EA simply doesn't do exclusivity for the sake of profit? Unless EA dumped the IP and someone else picked it up, wouldn't you say the chances of Mirror's Edge 2 being exclusive to the Xbox One are…um…zero? Microsoft might have the cash to make it a timed exclusive but even that would be a stretch. Third-party exclusivity is rare for a reason.
