A "Star Wars" FPS? Oh, maybe it was inevitable.

According to a post in the NeoGAF forums , LucasArts is currently seeking a senior core engineer and a senior animator for a mystery project. The cool part is that it's supposedly coming to "current and future generation consoles and PC."

Considering we're nearing a crossover portion where games may release for current hardware as well as the new machines, this isn't a stretch. But Lucas fans might not realize that this game is a first-person shooter…which may or may not go over well with the die-hard followers. Of course, the job listings don't say anything about "Star Wars" but we can't keep seeing visions of Han Solo and his blaster running through the Death Star…

This could be the unannounced project developer Clint Hocking was working on before leaving LucasArts, but again, there's no way to tell. Wonder when they'll lift the lid…hopefully soon.
