Life Is Strange Limited Edition Revealed

If you didn't get a chance to play the digital versions, or you were simply waiting for the physical option, this news is for you.

Square Enix has announced a Limited Edition of the episodic hit, Life is Strange . The bundle will include all five episodes of the acclaimed game, along with a 32-page artbook, soundtrack, unreleased concept art, director commentary, and the original score by Jonathan Morali.

This attractive package will be available in January for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One; the price will be $40. The PC version will arrive at the same time but it'll be $10 cheaper. The game's producer, Luc Baghadoust, said the team was "blow away" by the fan response and added:

"To be able to share that experience with our fans in a traditional boxed format is something we’re really excited about and the decision to include the extra items for the Limited Edition is a direct response to fan requests."

We didn't get a chance to review these episodes but perhaps when the Limited Edition lands, I'll have an excuse to play through the game. If you've played it, what did you think of it?

Life Is Strange: Episode 3 Set For May 19

Almost time for the third episode in this intriguing story.

Square Enix has announced that Life is Strange: Episode 3 will release on May 19. The third chapter in Dontnod Entertainment's compelling episodic series is called Chaos Theory (yes, like the third Splinter Cell .)

In terms of plot, Max and Chloe continue to investigate the disappearance of Rachel Amber, and that leads them to a new location:

"Max and Chloe's investigation into Rachel Amber's disappearance lead them to break into Blackwell Academy after dark to search for answers. Secrets will be uncovered and Max will find another use for her power."

In the screenshot provided for us, we see Max and Chloe attempting to break into the office of Principal Wells. For those who have played the first two episodes, this should be another interesting step…makes one wonder about the climax, doesn't it?

Life is Strange came out on January 30 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. There will be five episodes in the series and we expect all five will be available in one complete package at some point.
