Impossible Road Coming To PS4: Leap Your Way To Victory

Oh, don't worry. It's "impossible" in a good way.

Developer Wonderful Lasers has revealed Impossible Road for PlayStation 4, a crazy racer that actually encourages you to cheat.

However, "there will be no accelerator or brake, no cheap lead-stealing power-ups, and thanks to on-the-fly procedural generation of tracks, no race line memorization." There also won't be any rubber-band AI, which is a universal evil as far as I'm concerned so that's a good move. The idea is to find lots of shortcuts on your way to the finish line; you take "huge leaps across the roller-coaster-like speedway."

It's risky but if you can land it, you're golden. See, you have five seconds after launching yourself off the track to touch down again; if you can't manage to find the track on descent, you'll respawn a ways back. Sounds like a blast, although I imagine it can also be intensely frustrating. No release date yet, by the way.
