Rumor: Horizon: Zero Dawn Won’t Make Its Projected 2016 Date

When it debuted at E3 2015 , it was one of the most stunning new games on the horizon. Yep, pun intended.

Afterward, we got several fresh glimpses of Horizon: Zero Dawn , the new action/adventure title in the works at Killzone developer Guerrilla Games.

However, we haven't heard much recently and now it seems the PlayStation 4 exclusive will have to wait until 2017. Though Horizon never got an official release date, it was supposed to drop at some point this year. Now, industry insider Shinobi602 has reason to believe we won't see this promising new IP until next year (via DualShockers ):

This particular source has been correct numerous times in the past, so he might be right. And he later clarified his PS4K comment, saying it was just meant to be a general statement and didn't mean that the game would only be available on Sony's new upgraded console. That'd be ridiculous, right?

Personally, I wouldn't mind if Horizon got pushed to 2017; I want this one to be amazing when it shows up, so don't rush things, Guerrilla!
